How ReadyForCanada is written

Who writes it

Articles are written and kept current by the ReadyForCanada editorial team. We publish under the site's name rather than individual bylines because the standard is the same on every article: it has to match what the government actually says. The point of a piece is to get you to the right official source faster, not to perform expertise.

Where the information comes from

Each article links to its primary source, almost always a page on canada.ca or an IRCC notice. Express Entry draw results and government fees come from IRCC's own published data. When a rule or a figure changes, we update the affected articles instead of leaving old numbers in place.

The letters are professionally reviewed

The employment letters and letters of explanation we produce are professionally reviewed against the official NOC duties for your occupation before they reach you. That review is the paid service. The articles here are free, and they exist to help you prepare for it. See the letter services.
