Terms of Service

Last updated: April 17, 2026

These terms govern your use of ReadyForCanada (readyforcanada.ca) and any paid services ordered through the site. By using the site or buying a service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What we are, and what we aren't

ReadyForCanada is a writing and review service for Canadian immigration documents. We help you prepare employment letters, letters of explanation, and related paperwork in a format IRCC is used to seeing.

We are not a law firm. We are nota licensed immigration consultant. Nothing on this site — including any letter we produce for you — is legal advice. We can't represent you before IRCC, the IRB, or any tribunal, and we can't tell you whether your application will be approved.

Information, not advice

The blog, guides, checklists, CRS calculator, and everything else on this site are for general information. Immigration rules change, your situation is unique, and what you read here may be out of date or wrong for your case. Always verify details at canada.ca before relying on them.

Paid services

When you buy a letter service, you're paying for a written document delivered within the advertised window — under an hour for Rush, within 24 hours for Standard. Payment is processed by Stripe. Prices are in Canadian dollars.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit on the intake form. If you give us wrong details (wrong NOC, wrong employer name, wrong duties), the letter will reflect what you gave us. We write what you tell us.

The letter is delivered by email. It's yours to use however you want after that. We don't file it with IRCC, we don't sign it on behalf of an employer, and we don't impersonate anyone. You're responsible for getting it signed by the appropriate person at your company.

Refunds

If we miss the delivery window, email contact@readyforcanada.ca and we'll refund you.

If the letter has a factual error on our end — wrong NOC description, wrong formatting standard for IRCC — email us and we'll revise it at no charge.

We don't offer refunds for: changing your mind after delivery, the letter not being accepted by your employer to sign, or your application being refused. We don't control those outcomes.

What we can't guarantee

We can't guarantee that your application will be approved, that your employer will sign the letter, that IRCC will accept the NOC you've claimed, or that processing times will match what IRCC publishes. Immigration outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including the specific officer reviewing your file.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Submit false information on the intake form
  • Use our letters to commit fraud or misrepresent your employment
  • Copy, republish, or resell our content
  • Scrape or automate requests against the site
  • Attempt to access parts of the site not intended for the public

Misrepresentation on an immigration application is a serious offence under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, with consequences including a 5-year ban from Canada. Don't do it, and don't ask us to help you do it.

Intellectual property

The site's content, logo, and tools are owned by ReadyForCanada. The letters we produce for you are yours to use. You don't get the right to republish our guides, calculators, or other site content elsewhere.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ReadyForCanada's total liability for any claim arising from the site or a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including immigration application outcomes, lost opportunities, or emotional distress.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, this page gets updated and the “last updated” date changes. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
