Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 17, 2026

ReadyForCanada (“we,” “us,” “the site”) operates readyforcanada.ca. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit the site or use our services, and what happens to that information afterwards.

We try to collect as little as possible. We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties except where necessary to deliver the service you paid for.

What we collect

When you browse: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) and aggregate analytics. No personally identifying browsing data is stored.

When you use the letter service: we collect the information you enter on the intake form — job title, NOC code, employer name, duties, and whatever else is needed to produce the letter. For the Review + Upgrade service, we also receive the letter you upload.

When you pay: payment is processed by a third-party payment processor. We never see or store your card details. The processor shares your email address with us so we can deliver the letter.

When you email us: we keep the email and whatever you sent in it.

How the letter service handles your data

Intake form data is stored temporarily and tied to your payment session. Once the letter is generated and emailed, the entry is deleted.

Letters are produced using a combination of drafting tools and review. The information you submit on the intake form is used solely for the purpose of producing your letter and is not retained for any other use.

The finished letter is delivered by email to the address provided at checkout. We retain a copy of delivered letters for up to 30 days in case you need it resent, then it's deleted.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses cookies for aggregate traffic measurement and for advertising. Advertising partners, including Google AdSense, may use cookies to serve personalized ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info.

Third-party services

To deliver the site and its services, we rely on third-party providers for hosting, payment processing, email delivery, content drafting tools, analytics, and advertising. Each provider has its own privacy policy, and we only share the minimum data needed for them to perform their role. A list of current providers is available on request by emailing contact@readyforcanada.ca.

Your rights

If you're in Canada, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, correct it, or request deletion. If you're in the EU or UK, GDPR gives you similar rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@readyforcanada.ca. We respond within 30 days.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how data is handled, this page gets updated and the “last updated” date at the top changes. Significant changes will be noted on the homepage for at least 14 days.
